Oranization: Tools

I like to store my tools in the most logical, practical spot...on the table closest to my sewing machine.

My tools are in a handblown glass vase (that sounds expensive, but it was totally free from a family member).  You can use just about anything.  Here are a few ideas for you:

This little sewing area is awesome.  Desiree at 36th Avenue made this compact space bright and organized.

Painted mason jars.  I have painted two of these, but I have not put them to use yet.  Try this easy tutorial from Emma at Food Coma.

How do you like to organize your tools?

I hope your week is going well.  Just a reminder:  I am removing Google Friend Connect, so please subscribe over on the right hand side either via feed or email.  Thanks!

    1. I just thought about it. The only problem with that little sewing area...where is the stuff stored? Hmmm.... In a closet so when the door opens it all falls out? Probably not. The lady who put that together looks neat and tidy.

  2. I just never get the hang of organizing my stuff. I clean up my mess, start sewing. Every system breaks down at this point. But it is nice to see how other people do it.

    1. I am with you Sarah. Three weeks after I cleaned my table, I was talking the pile of stuff off just to take pictures. I think it has to constant. Everyday spend 5 minutes to clean up the area. That is my thinking...doing is a different story. All I know is that I like a clean table to sit down to and work.

    2. Good point Leslie, I would use that spot as a place for sewing lessons but not for crafting large projects.
